This little project forced me to find some photographically interesting backdrops around the house and was a lesson in the focusing dilemmas of a solo photoshoot with a tripod, no remote control and all in 35C+ heat.

CE N'EST PAS UN CHAPEAU
Those who know me in uni will know I have built up a reputation of sorts as the 'girl with the hats'. Somehow, my hat collection has grown since then - perhaps a habit borne from six years' of high school uniform, perhaps a fear of the top of my head, or perhaps because hats are pretty awesome, full stop. I tried to showcase a few prominent members (as you may be able to
tell, I got quite a few shots I liked out of my cap from Japan).
This little project forced me to find some photographically interesting backdrops around the house and was a lesson in the focusing dilemmas of a solo photoshoot with a tripod, no remote control and all in 35C+ heat.
